Compensation - $100,000 - $130,000 base salary plus bonuses and benefits

The Wealth Manager provides comprehensive technical financial planning and investment management work, either, under the management of higher-level professionals or on their own. They work with clients and are under the supervision of a Managing Director and have decision making abilities on client plans, investment processes and procedures, operational processes and procedures and client affairs.

A Wealth Manager is responsible for conducting client meetings as well as supporting both the Managing Director and Vice President - Wealth Manager. The Wealth Manager will work with other advisory team members and staff members as needed to discuss client cases. They have obtained the proper licensing and experience to work directly with clients.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Client and Advisory Engagement

  • Works directly with assigned clients to best support their financial planning, investment
  • management, and risk outcomes. Engages directly with clients and is responsible for retention, growth, and support of clients.
  • Focus on maintaining above 90% client retention and target engagement for growth opportunities.
  • Accountable for client relationships managed and client process within the Wealth Manager responsibilities including delivery of the TAG Client Experience.
  • The Wealth Manager utilizes planning tools, as well as internal and external resources, all in pursuit of helping clients achieve their goals as well as supporting both the Managing Director and Vice President Wealth Manager.
  • Understands client needs by identifying and confirming their objectives, goals, and concerns.
  • Reviews client profiles and investment portfolios at an appropriate frequency to ensure all needs and actions have been met and to identify gaps in their planning.
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution to solve client or operational problems, while being accountable for those decisions.
  • Works closely with both the Managing Director and Vice President - Wealth Manager to develop advanced planning expertise.
  • Analyzes client information and evaluates results to choose the best financial planning solution within the Transformational Advisory Group client experience process.
  • Build out client financial plans and investment proposals as directed by the Managing Director and Vice President – Wealth Manager.
  • Works with-in a team structure that is designed for growth and supports the success of the team and overall organization.

Compliance

  • Complies with all regulatory requirements.
  • Brings any compliance or ethics concerns to management’s attention and Completes all Firm and FINRA educational requirements on time.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • CFP® required or similar designation approved
  • Series 7, 66, & Life/Health Insurance License
  • 3-8 years direct advisory focus
  • Proficient in core financial planning and proficient of core client case

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
  • Proficient in financial planning, analysis, and modeling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Knowledge of investment advisory regulations required
  • Demonstrates personal integrity, honesty, and can deal with confidential information
  • Ability to deal with stress in an ever-changing investment market and financial services industry
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems
