Compensation - $70,000-85,000 base salary with 20% annual bonus.
Our client is a boutique Wealth Management Advisory firm that focuses on designing a personalized plan and helping clients execute it by safely navigating their financial journey and having meaningful adventures along the way.
They are currently seeking a Financial Planning Associate to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Advisors to develop and deliver consistent plans aligned with planning best practices and assumptions
- Collaborate with Advisors to establish the prospective client’s financial plan. This may include risk management illustrations and wealth management proposals
- Develop a solid understanding of the firm’s planning operations, pilot new programs, and manage compliance to ensure the practice exceeds standards
- Work on formulation and implementation of risk and investment strategies consistent with a comprehensive financial plan prepared for each client
- Maintain familiarity with industry and economic trends and apply knowledge to client service and relationships
- Manage and supervise formulation and implementation of risk and investment strategies consistent with a comprehensive financial plan prepared for each client individually
- Increase assets under management from an assigned client base (as applicable)
- Develop new revenue opportunities from outside sources
- Connect with and develop relationships with existing client’s next generation
- Maintain familiarity with the industry and economic trends
- Maintain knowledge of and show the ability to apply compliance standards
- Works collegially and productively with clients, peers, and other team members
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Services
- Series 6 & 63 Licenses (Preferred)
- Understanding and ability to articulate Financial Planning
- CFP is preferable but not required
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Insurance License: Life, Health, Long Term Care
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM (preferred)
- Comfortable manipulating, archiving, and moving electronic documents
- Commitment to professional development
