What We’re Looking For
Our client is looking for an analytical, curious, and detail-oriented Sr. Business Analyst to support the execution of their valuation services. In this role, you will lead key projects that develop insights for marketing, sales, and strategic decision-making while partnering with leadership to drive impactful business initiatives.


Responsibilities

As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will:

  • Manage and maintain various data sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Determine data needs and implement effective data collection routines
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with clients to gather insights that inform business strategies
  • Perform data analysis to support decision-making and offer insights into business performance metrics
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the wealth management space
  • Prepare clear, data-driven reports and presentations for stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven quantitative abilities and experience conducting complex analysis
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills (final candidates will be asked to demonstrate these skills)
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently manage projects and solve problems creatively
  • Strong ability to evaluate and analyze data, form independent judgments, and provide actionable insights
  • Experience working with ambiguity and managing complex, sometimes contradictory information
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey data insights clearly
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work
  • Highly preferred: Certified Valuation Analyst or Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA); if not, one of these credentials will be required once starting in the role

  • Base salary at $70,000 - $105,000 (dependent on experience and credentials) with potential bonus plan
