Compensation: $150,000-200,000 base salary

    Our client is looking for a seasoned and results-oriented HR executive to join the team as the Director of Human Resources. The Director of HR will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's human capital strategy, fostering a positive workplace culture, implementing transparent and efficient HR processes and systems, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's overall mission, goals, and objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee development initiatives.
    • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and promotes employee engagement.
    • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
    • Develop and implement strategies for employee retention and professional development.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Mitigate HR-related risks and implement proactive measures to maintain a compliant and ethical work environment.
    • Implement and manage performance evaluation processes to drive employee development and organizational success.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers in performance management and employee feedback.
    • Implement and manage strategic talent development programs and initiatives that align the talent strategy to the organization’s strategy.
    • Implement and manage efficient, accessible and user-friendly processes and systems to empower employees and managers with all HR activities.
    • Collaborate with finance to ensure the financial sustainability of HR programs.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years in a strategic Human Resources Leadership role
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification preferred (example: SPHR or PHR)
    • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Compensation
