Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Manager of Marketing, Public Relations, and Social Media with a passion for sports to lead our wealth management firm; financial literacy program marketing efforts. Their firm specializes in serving collegiate & professional athletes and coaches and extends to our Secure The Bag financial literacy program that works with NFL, NBA and collegiate athletic teams.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development and implementation of marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and client engagement.
- Overseeing public relations to raise brand awareness and create media opportunities.
- Managing social media channels to ensure consistent and engaging content.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to create compelling marketing campaigns.
- Building and nurturing relationships with professional athletes, coaches, and potential brand partners.
- Monitoring and analyzing marketing performance metrics to optimize strategies.
- Supervising and collaboration with freelancers on content creation and financial literacy presentation
- Manage athlete prospects/brand ambassadors generated from financial literacy events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, or related field of study
- Specialization in Social Media and Communications (Experience in the sports, digital, or social space is a significant advantage)
- Ability to regularly anticipate and respond to clients’ needs
- Strong skills in writing and editing firm communications
- Knowledge and experience leading marketing campaigns
- Superior knowledge of social media platforms and the latest trends
- Knowledge of branded content production
- Media outreach/PR experience
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills
- Mastery of the major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Knowledge of social media analytics software, including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance
- Experience with content management systems, word processor applications, and image/video editing software
- Experience in the sports, digital, or social space is a significant advantage
Compensation
- $50,000 - $80,000 based on experience
