The Role


Reporting to the Medical Director and working closely with executive leadership, the Associate Director of Clinic Operations will oversee daily clinic functions, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. This leadership role involves clinical operations, staff coordination, community engagement, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have extensive healthcare management experience and a passion for serving vulnerable populations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily clinic operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Staff Supervision & Development: Lead a team of clinical and administrative professionals, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Financial & Resource Management: Develop and monitor budgets, allocate resources, and support cost-effective clinic operations.
  • Data & Reporting: Oversee data management, ensure accurate EHR system usage, and provide internal/external reporting as needed.
  • Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Foster partnerships with internal teams, external healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies to enhance patient care initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of experience in a healthcare/clinical setting, with at least 8 years in a leadership role managing teams of 10+ people.
  • Strong knowledge of clinic operations, healthcare regulations, and quality improvement processes.
  • Experience in a nonprofit healthcare setting is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation: $110K salary + benefits
